Story "Unexpected help gave happiness"

"And there was no one to help, to take her to the hospital, to call the Ambulance, to even cry for her....as the past month, my wife, lost her life due to a severe heart attack." Sniffed the 75 year old Uncle Ram, while sharing his helplessness with a group of 5 more men similar to his age, sitting in a park..
The others could only console him for the loss he had to go through because even they were going through the struggle of the life as they continued to get old. These 6 were the ones who met in the park a week ago and became friends, the ones with same thoughts, facing problems, living all alone in their small house.
"We all are living a similar life where there's no one for us...My daughter who got married 10 years ago, shifted to Abroad...and I live alone, somehow living as a pensioner.." And the other expressed his part with sheer disappointment reflecting on his wrinkled face.

The dusk shone dim and slight breeze made the environment a bit cool..and the aged individuals kept talking and supporting each other by their words.
And a girl, sitting on the bench a meter away, unnoticed to the old group, easily heard their conversation, their thoughts, their problems, and how they actually needed someone to be a supportive factor of their life!
She was hurt for the fact that Uncle Ram and the rest were living a life full of hardships when it was their age to simply rest and stay fine! She couldn't stop herself from gazing at them while packing her books in her bag to leave for her Hostel, near to the park.

The next day,
The girl, Rina, met her Hostel friends and was having breakfast with them, in the Morning mess.
As the past day event revolved in her mind, she wemt discussing that with her friends.

"You know they were so hurt. I couldn't see their moist eyes." Rina spoke with a dull face.
"So shall we do something? For them? " With questioning eyes, Sara looked at the others.
"Yes! We should. There must be a way, we can help them out!" confidence reflected in Shweta's words.

And they managed to come up with a plan, for which they asked for their friends who happily agreed to them and even their parents supported their good decision.

On weekend, 6 girls including Rina, Shweta and Sara, went to the old Uncles who were sitting on the bench, sipping Tea.
"Excuse me Uncle." Rina softly spoke to them.
"Yes child?" One of the men asked.
"Uncle, for each one of you, there's an invitation card." Forwarding the cards to each Rina smiled at them.
"Uncle, do come to the Hall, next to this park, tomorrow at 4pm." Continued Shweta.
"But what is this for?" Asked Uncle Anand.
"Please, come. It's a get together. You'll get to know as you arrive!"
The group nodded as they couldn't ignore the hearty pleading by those girls..

The old group sat on the chairs and smiled looking at the light decoration of the Hall. Not many people were present but the girls and few more filled the Room.

"Uncle. We six are from the same hostel and study in near by XYZ College.. Sorry, but this is not a get together but something different." Announced Sara.
"What is going to happen?" One of the Uncle asked out of tension.
"Don't worry. All this has been done only for you people." Rins gave a hope to them yet making them confused at the same time.

"A day I over heard your conversation about the situation you have to face while living alone. This is something which bothered me and me and my friends came up with something."
They kept listening to Rina carefully as she started.

"We respect you all, we really want to do for you, so that you stay happy, you stay healthy and stress free. We hostel ones want to serve you help by making meals for you daily, helping you in everyday work, and in short living in your house as paying guest. We will pay rent for living in your house and also we will live as your family." Honesty poured from her words...
"And like any emergency you face, we will be with you always just like your daughter or son would do." Shweta genuinely smiled while conveying clearly.

The men looked at each other, totally spell bind, hearing the girls, their help and genuineness which reflected in their eyes.
"Children, I and my friends, we have been living alone for quite years now and when you dearly come to help us, it feels blessed.." Uncle Ram's eyes went teary.
"Uncle, if you feel so, will you give us this chance to do something for you? Which we would have done living with our families...who already gave us the permission for this!" With a hope Shweta asked them.
"We would love to be with you,  you have actually made us feel loved..God bless you all." Their hands raised giving them blessings.
Rina came and wiped the tears which flowed from Uncle's eyes..
The wrinkled faces brightened with overwhelming smiles as the girls hugged them.
This was a blissful moment where the girls decided to spread light in by becoming the helping hands of the ones who were in need of happiness and a good, calm life..
